Bundelkhand University is a government run university in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, India. Founded in 1975, it has professional, technical and vocational study programmes. Located on the lap of Kaimason Hillocks, Bundelkhand University campus is spread over the 180 acre of land on both sides of Kanpur Highway in the historical city of Jhansi. The University was founded on August 26, 1975 under Uttar Pradesh University Act no.10 1986 section 4, sub-section 1-A vide notification no.10/15-60-33/74.
